I was born in Aurora, Illinois, in 1958. Sometime before the age of two, my family and I moved to Miami, where I lived the majority of my life. I graduated from Miami Central High school and went on to Miami Dade Community college to earn an Associate of Arts degree. I then spent two years in Los Angeles as a missionary for my church. I returned to Miami and attended Florida International University, earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I enrolled in dental school in Gainesville, Florida, in 1983, and graduated in 1987. My first job was working in Miami as an associate while at the same time opening my first practice with a partner. We eventually opened two practices where I worked for five years.
I sold my half of the business to my associate and worked in a group practice in Kendall for another five years. I returned to Central Florida and purchased a practice in Dunnellon, Florida
. In June of 2008, I opened my village office, and in September of 2010, I opened my Ocala Office. I totally enjoy my work, my staff, and interacting with patients and colleagues. I am married and have four daughters from the ages 14 to 30 years. I enjoy traveling, listening to music and spending time with my family.
